Als Application Delivery Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor een team van 20 medewerkers (analisten, ontwikkelaars en testers) die werken aan 3 in-house ontwikkelde applicaties (transportbeheer, planning en magazijnbeheer).

  • Ondersteuning bieden aan het team en duidelijke begeleiding geven met betrekking tot taken en verantwoordelijkheden.
  • Duidelijke regels stellen voor wijzigingsverzoeken en deze helder communiceren naar betrokken partijen binnen de organisatie.
  • Heldere verwachtingen stellen met betrekking tot documentatie in verschillende fasen van applicatieontwikkeling en -ondersteuning, en ervoor zorgen dat deze verwachtingen worden nageleefd.
  • Op basis van gegevens uit verschillende systemen creëer je een duidelijk beeld van de activiteiten binnen je team en vertaal je deze naar verbeteringen op het gebied van proces, follow-up en verwachtingen met betrekking tot analyses, ontwikkeling en testen.
  • Problemen of oplossingen die vaak voorkomen, onderzoek je met het team om de oorzaak te vinden.Samen met de Service Delivery Manager werk je aan standaardoplossingen, ondersteuning en standby, overgenomen door het Service Desk Team met 2nd- of 3rd-line ondersteuning van je softwareontwikkelingsteams.
  • Implementatie van de nodige beleidsmaatregelen en procedures om efficiëntie en effectiviteit binnen het team te meten en te verbeteren.
  • Optreden als Release Manager, niet alleen zorgend voor kwalitatieve releases, maar ook oog hebbend voor de gebruikerservaring en aandacht voor communicatie naar gebruikers.
  • Fungeren als verbindende factor binnen de softwareontwikkelingsteams, luisterend wanneer nodig, mensen samenbrengend bij kansen en het faciliteren van aangename werkomstandigheden voor het team.
  • Ruimte creëren in verschillende softwareontwikkelingsteams zodat medewerkers regelmatig kunnen worden ingezet voor een van onze digitale transformatieprojecten.
  • Op basis van analyses en verbeteringsprocessen help je bepalen welke ondersteunende activiteiten kunnen worden uitbesteed, zoek je naar een externe partner en draag je bij aan een succesvolle overdracht.Dit moet leiden tot kennisborging voor historisch ontwikkelde applicaties en ruimte creëren bij intern personeel om aan innovatieve digitale projecten te werken.
  • Risico's detecteren en in kaart brengen in bestaande applicaties, processen en activiteiten, zodat de nodige maatregelen kunnen worden genomen om oorzaken te identificeren en permanente oplossingen te vinden.
  • Inspireren met best practices en ervaringen die eerder zijn opgedaan in een vergelijkbare rol.

What do we expect from you?

  • Project Preparation
    • Manage the creation of the first estimates on resources and cost needs
    • Supervise the preliminary study and shape the start-up of the project
    • Manage the establishment and validation of the detailed scope, planning and budget in close collaboration with the client (SNCB) and our IT teams
    • Draft and follow up the project plan and ensure that the necessary documentation is created
    • Assure compliance with Legal Obligations (like GDPR, Security, …)

  • Project Organisation
    • Manage the project team
    • Assure a correct stakeholder management in order to provide optimal business satisfaction
    • Connect and collaborate with the client, IT Business Relationship Partners, IT Architects and the delivery teams, as well as with our external sourcing partner TCS and various suppliers
    • Act as a central point of contact for all questions regarding the projects assigned to you
    • Orchestrate activities between different IT and business roles (architecture, analysts, delivery managers, business)
    • Monitor the project budget and estimates
    • Identify, manage and mitigate issues and risks, coordinate towards solutions in close collaboration with the project team and / or the IT supplier and escalate before it's too late
    • Organise / set up and lead the project status and steering groups
    • Manage scope changes and their financial and timing consequences
    • Ensure the timely delivery of all activities that fall under the responsibility of the project

  • Reporting & Quality Control

Key Responsibilities …
  • Develop & manage the Technical Educator team in CE to deliver both online & offline education to our customers and internal colleagues ensuring the team execute our education and brand education programme
  • Accompany the Technical Educators periodically to ensure standards and education offerings are adhered to.
  • Take a lead role in the delivery of events, conducting demonstrations and creative stage work as required.
  • Provide educational support to our key customers to increase their confidence in our technical offering, with the specific aim of growing our colour business
  • Provide face to face and digital educational to support our product offering and to increase technical awareness and understanding
  • Deliver educational support to our full service and stores customers to increase their confidence in our products and increase sales - with the specific aim of growing our colour business in Win Win products in stores
  • To work alongside the Education Design Lead and Technical Educator Lead UK to develop and implement a centralised testing panel for relevant hair and electricals products for selected hairdressers to test and feedback in the UK&I & CE markets.
  • Responsible for Quality Assuring French translations for the Education Design team.
